Main Duties
Graphic Design:             
You will be required to take design briefs and see them through to completion. The position will involve layout work, picture research, text formatting, image colour correction and the production of print ready PDFs. Digitising artwork – vector tracing logos and creating illustrations. Preparing text for layout - marking up and stylizing text by applying paragraph and character styles. Designing and co-ordinating marketing material, brochures, exhibition graphics, e-shot campaigns, and basic web site creation. Completion of design material from supplied templates.
Admin:       
Answer telephone and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals. Responding to emails and web enquiries. Updating company websites and developing newsletters. Taking a responsible approach to computer file management and safe keeping by performing regular back ups.
General:                           
Install software and updates to existing programmes. Perform health checks on computer and general maintenance tasks to insure computers run smoothly.
Qualifications and experience required for this role

You must be friendly, energetic, intelligent and organised as you will hold a lead position. You will be working on a variety of different tasks including :
1) Designing for Print You will be liaising directly with clients and working on a variety of different briefs, including logo designs, stationery, leaflets, brochures and everything and anything else to do with print. You must have strong skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Our clients expect the best creative work from a designer that they can befriend. You must be versatile in your design skills, from working with strict corporate guidelines, to open brief heavy Photoshop based designs.This is a bonus: You must have good knowledge of the print process and how to prepare artwork for print including PDF creation.
